Eastern Bluebirds in backyard today

Several different birds at the seed this afternoon, but I only captured the Eastern Bluebirds.
Yes, that water is frozen, but the little bowl has fresh warm water. Didn't capture a bird at the warm one. Didn't say my Eastern Bluebirds are the smartest on the block. By now the warm water is not warm. Doesn't stay that way but a very few minutes in these temps.

Bluebirds always look like a painting and not real. Almost too pretty.

Great shots

Darla - Not sure what was wrong. Maybe your favorite had the address wrong? I knew I had not seen you around for a while, but have been getting comments from all the other regulars. Not sure what was wrong. Let me know if it happens again.

Am glad to hear you received your photos, finally. Guess Christmas mail slowed it down.

I hate to say this, but I also had problems linking to your blog. But I finally made it and the pictures of the bluebirds made it definitely worthwhile. Thanks.

It's really not fair to have no snow with cold temps. :( At least with my -9 I have a foot of snow. :) Beautiful Bluebirds! I love those guys!

Bluebirds are such a pretty bird. We used to have westerns and mountain bluebirds to entertain us in Winthrop, WA, but these birds don't seem to like the wetter regions of WA.

Happy Holidays Leedra.

I wonder if I'll ever have the joy of seeing one in real life? They are darling! Thank you, Leedra - have sweet day!

Leedra: Beautiful capture of the neat Bluebird. I saw some this year in the PA mountains under low light conditions.

Wonderful job with these bluebird photos Leedra! Aren't they just the sweetest! Hey I just noticed your butterflies on the sidebar! Those are great, I'll be looking for new species for me when I move somewhere near Huntsville AL. We might even end up near the Tennessee border. It's going to be a real adventure trying to find a place to live down there, but I'm up for it!
