I took these photographs of a Carolina Chickadee on Thanksgiving Day. We had a warm day, and I ventured out to my front yard, should do it more often. I have not adjusted to the cold this year, maybe because we are breaking records. One day recently we broke a 1937 record by 3 degrees. Global warming...not around here this year. Don't mean to step on any toes there, just kidding. The rain set in on Sunday, and we still have a house with a tarp across the roof. Not good!

Those are some well fed birds. We had rain for three days! Now the wind is really cool.
Cute bird.Obviously one of my favorites.
Nice photos, Leedra! I LOVE chickadees.
Postcard Perfect!
Happy Belated Birthday!
What a handsome little fellow. I bet he picks up a lot of "chicks". pun intended!

Thank you Leedra for visiting my blog. Where do you live in East Tennessee? I love your photography.
Sweet pix of the sweetest birdy!
His eyes look very bright and beautiful in your photos!
Hi Leedra,
The Chickadee is one of my favorite birds. I love to hear his happy song, especially in winter when not many birds are singing!
He's nice and healthy isn't he!
Great shot!
Leedra: Nice capture of the chubby Chickadee.
