All of these photographs were taken at Perry's Water Garden in North Carolina.
They were all taken July 4, 2008,
Mostly God's creations through my lens. Sometimes old buildings and such. Sometimes my own creations through hand knitting and needle felting. And sometimes just life as it is happening.

A nice reminder of warmer days.
It's -12 here with a wind chill of -35.
Very nice pictures. The certainly helped warm up a cold day.
Leedra, I enjoyed seeing the progression. How long does it bloom??? Did you keep going back to check--or did you use the different stages from several different lilies??? Very interesting. I think I like the 2nd picture the best--mainly because of the colors.
Hugs,
Betsy
What a beautiful sequence of pictures.
Leedra: A beautiful series on the Water Lilly cycle.
WOW! I never knew - beautiful, Leedra! Thank you.
Love the water lilly's. I did not know that the bloom only lasted one day.

I am sorry, I was not clear. These are different flowers at different stages. They do open and close daily from what I understood while there.
Wow! So gorgeous and cool procession! Thanks!
Your lilies are wonderful and I love the dreamy quality to these shots and the great colors.
