Before sunrise at Watts Bar - Sky Watch Dec 19

Just waiting for the sun to come up one September morning.
None of us seem to be seeing much color, so pulled this out of the archives to post.
A reminder this dreary look we are seeing right now will not last.
Please visit Sky Watch for great sky photographs from all over the world.

This is nice Leedra, so this is sunrise. This is very refreshing when you wake up in the morning and you are in the place just like this.

This photo is absolutely beautiful. There is nothing like a sunrise over the mountains, and the lake reflecting the light makes it more wonderful. I lived in Tucson, AZ for two years and I really miss the sunrise and sunset over the mountains.

Thanks for the reminder that the gray days won't last forever. This is a beautiful shot.

Leedra, I love seeing the sun come up over the water.. I also love being on a cruise ship and watching the sun go DOWN 'into' the water. Beautiful color on a drab day!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

I see that like me, you have been thinking of more pleasant weather.

That is an excellent shot and I enjoyed your other posts as well, especially seeing the difference between the heron shots now and earlier in the year.

Lovely! Nothing prettier than a sunrise/set shot over water.

I enjoyed your GBH shots, they are one of my favorite birds.

We were lucky and had some sun yesterday and this morning before the next big snow storm tonight. All this gray is telling me to try out some black and white digital photography to capture those wintery moments.

Your sunrise is very tranquil. Watching the sun come up must be a great way to start the day.
