I turned to go, so they would stay where they were. These ducks act differently than most common white ducks I have seen in the past.
Never seen ducks so scared of people, several times when we have been there they stayed in the woods. The earlier post of these ducks can be seen here.

White Ducks at Veterans Park
Some photos of the common white ducks at Veterans Park in Spring City, Tennessee.The one quacking is trying to get the others to get in the water.

Loved your white ducks! Someone must have harrassed them at one time for them to have been so skittish.
leedra: That one ducks beak is quite a different color.
The white ducks are so beautiful. You can tell they are afraid of people, but I really like first picture of the white duck sitting on the grass. He looks so peacefull.
