You can see where the park got the nicknames of the Smokies and the Blue Ridges.
Check out Sky Watch Friday to see wonderful sky photos from all over the world.
Mostly God's creations through my lens. Sometimes old buildings and such. Sometimes my own creations through hand knitting and needle felting. And sometimes just life as it is happening.

I adore the first and the last one the most although they are all pretty.
Yes, the Smokies and the Blue Ridge Mountains are very aptly named!
I like the changes in coloration from one pic to the other.
These photos are just stunning! You have captured Newfound Gap so very well!
How beautiful. I've been there, but the skies didn't look like that. We're planning to travel to that area sometime in December this year.
Beautiful captures Leedra. Makes me want to go right back up there!

Fantastic! I love the last one. I bet you had some beautiful fall leaves too.
A lovely series of images from the Smokies - my favorite vacation spot!
I love Newfound Gap... Last year, we traveled from the NC side to Gatlinburg to see the Christmas lights. There was snow at Newfound Gap--so we HAD to stop and check it out!
Hugs,
Betsy
