One good shot and then this Goldfinch was gone. I also moved the chair on the deck so maybe tomorrow I can get more before they are scared away. Who put that chair there anyway?
Then I noticed the water was frozen. The sun will hit is soon.
Mostly God's creations through my lens. Sometimes old buildings and such. Sometimes my own creations through hand knitting and needle felting. And sometimes just life as it is happening.

Great photo. What chair?
Darla - the chair I had to sneak around to get the photo
Your bird photos are just beautiful!
So, so, so, so darling!
Hi Leedra,
Great shot! I love to watch this little bird. Is it too early to put out the thistle seed for them? I don't usually put it out until Jan. or Feb. but if they are around, maybe I should.
When I stopped at the lake this afternoon the Pine trees were full of little birds with yellow breasts. I made a few pictures but they were not good enough to post.
Dorothy - Think you might ought to, they do eat it fast, so be ready to refill. I had mine out all summer. They would go a couple of weeks and not eat any then they would eat the whole sock full in 3 days. Never hurts to have it there when they are around. Maybe they will stay.
He looks so soft and cuddly - sweet picture!
Leedra: Neat story along with a great photo. I think a squirrel moved the chair. They want you to chase the birds away so they have more food.
Sweet bird...he looks cold!
Love those Goldfinches... We have TONS and TONS of them here at our feeders... Can't wait to see their colors in the Spring/Summer.
