Watts Bar Lake is looking kind of dreary now days.
The water is very low from Veterans Park. Hard to find my favorite Great Blue Heron as often I was earlier in the year.
This last photograph was actually taken on the highway going to Cumberland Mtn State Park, a week earlier than the other photos posted here.

Very nice. The low water reminds me of the lake near me and seeing how low the water has gotten over the months. I still love those great fall colors. :-)
Marvelous colors to go along with the water. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!

fall in full bloom... love the colors
What beautiful colours. My last photo is my favourite.
Nice. Love the colors in the last one.
Leedra...Your photography is just so beautiful. I especially enjoyed the series on Metcalf Bottoms in the earlier post!
I wouldn't call it dreary at all actually. I think I might use the word "drowsy"... or maybe not.
I wonder what that shot would look like in black and white though...
The season is winding down, but it's not really dreary...just different. Happy Watery Wednesday!
I found the last photo so interesting - reminded me of a garland of leaves being laid out - beautiful.
Beautiful, Leedra! Is the last photo of Virgina Creeper? Poison Oak (or Poison Ivy) turns a pretty color in the Fall, too.
Leedra: It looked like the plants were sending you a message in the last shot.
Beautiful hues, Leedra.
Watery Wednesday sounds a nice theme for recurring-theme posts.
Beatiful photos.
All of these are beautiful!
I love the second one with the fall color and the reflection.
Pretty fall colors that I love so much...
