Tufted Titmouse at Veterans Park

He posed for me, then he started playing hide and seek.
These were taken October 2. The same morning I photographed the Brown Headed Nuthatch. They were in the same group of trees.
I have not seen either since that morning. I keep going back to this spot, but no birds.

HAHA! When I fisrt looked at the titmouse butts I thought, "well, I've gotten LOTS of those bird shots." Then I noticed he was peeking around below the branch!

Leedra: I love the way this bird sings when looking for a mate, it is so special. I love that first photo, it is really neat.
