He posed for me, then he started playing hide and seek.
These were taken October 2. The same morning I photographed the Brown Headed Nuthatch. They were in the same group of trees.
I have not seen either since that morning. I keep going back to this spot, but no birds.

HAHA! When I fisrt looked at the titmouse butts I thought, "well, I've gotten LOTS of those bird shots." Then I noticed he was peeking around below the branch!
You have Titmouse and I have Pine Siskin...I'll trade with you. Yea...butt shots...my favorite pictures since I also get so many of them.
That first shot is perfect!
Leedra, I love seeing him peek at you from around that branch!!! He is posing--in his own way!!! ha
Interesting shots. That is a good looking bird, send one over my way.
Great shots - hopefully he'll be back to visit.
You can't find anyone to play hide and seek with you? hahaha Those are great photos.
You got much better pics than I this past weekend - they are such hard buggers to catch still! well done!
Leedra: I love the way this bird sings when looking for a mate, it is so special. I love that first photo, it is really neat.
Cute little bird peeping at you! You have a knack for being in the right place at the right time!
Boy, you were so fortunate to capture the nuthatch and the titmouse on the same day! Love this one too.
