Bleeding Heart of Costa Rica

The top side of the Bleeding Heart.
The underside of the Bleeding Heart.
They also called this plant the Jesus Christ Plant.

Can see where they got the name Bleeding Heart,

but it doesn't look anything like the plant we have here.

That is really unique. I'm familiar with our bleeding heart plant but have never seen this particular one. Very pretty photos.

Now that is an appropiate named plant! Just stunning, the second photo took my breath away, I was not expecting it to look like...well you know, that!

I wonder if I would have noticed the heart without it being pointed out to me...I would have when younger. Now, I don't know.
