American Coots are similiar in appearance to the Common Moorhen, except the Moorhen has a red bill and the American Coots are white.
Think they must have had a lover's quarrel.
Mostly God's creations through my lens. Sometimes old buildings and such. Sometimes my own creations through hand knitting and needle felting. And sometimes just life as it is happening.

Leedra: The Coots were putting on a show, thanks for sharing them.
Oh those silly willy birds. I hope they made up.
They are fun to watch, aren't they? Wonderful photos you captured here.
Oh, and aren't there just some crazeee drivers out there? Glad that person didn't cause an accident, the one that ran the stop sign!!
Excellent shots of the coots. I didn't know how to tell them from moorhens. Thanks for pointing out how one tells the difference.
I have never seen them.
I saw a male and female mallard ducks yesterday.
Love the photo story - looks like the quarrel ended!
My first thoughts at the first couple of photos: "and the race is on!"
