I had fun at the Tierra Verde pond. I would take photos and go back to the condo and download to see what I captured.

The Redhead Pochards and the Common Pochards are similiar,
but the Redhead is the one in Florida of the two.
If I am wrong please feel free to correct me. Ducks are new and I have several different ones to post, so please help me if I am wrong on any of them.
Not sure what is going on with the back one of the 3 grouped together.

I do love those red head ducks! I wonder if those ducks that were grouped together were having a "social moment." I know Loons do that - but only at the end of the summer. Great photos Leedra - can't believe all the ducks that were there!!
Good Morning Leedra, I am enjoying all these beautiful pictures. Such lovely ducks.
Look at all those ducks Leedra. I have yet to see a red head...although I was one once! :-(
I too love the red head ducks! I really like the photos you got of one with its wings out!
I don't know enough to say which is which Leedra. All I know is I enjoyed these wonderful photographs. Thank you!
Beautiful, Leed... I don't know ducks at all--so can't help you with the names. BUT--I love the red-head!!! Gorgeous!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I've never seen these guys before! How pretty!
You are quite the "duck hunter" Leedra :)
I'm not familiar with these ducks but you certainly found a lot of them.
These are such lovely ducks. I love the red heads. In the last picture where the 3 are grouped together I believe he is cleaning himself. His features are ruffled. Great shot.
You got some very good pictures of the red-headed duck.
