Male Northern Cardinal

The last 3 photos were taken right after I had refilled the feeder hanging in this tree. He was trying to figure out how to get to those seeds since there were not any on the ground yet.

The color palette in these photos is so simple but stunning! Beautiful work Leedra! I really like the idea of you having a blog! Cheers!

Darla - Think he is, he can't figure out how to get that seed out of that feeder hanging a foot below him. Guess I should have thrown some seed on the ground.

Beautiful pictures, Leedra. You caught the cardinal deep in thought in the last picture.

If we didn't have those beautiful cardinals what would we do for color in the winter. You (as always) captured the spirit, Leedra

Just returning the visit. I peeked at your other sites also. You wee wondering how you got to my bench site and I think it is because I have several and the top one happened to be my Benches blog. You probably located me because I recently did a card tutorial on my regular main blog for a friend.

You asked about the bench posted in my header. It was taken last year at Mt. Rainier in WA state. It was in front of the old visitor's center. They moved down the road and built a new more economical visitor's center so I don't know if it is still there or not.

Cardinals are the cheeriest thing about winter! Always a lovely red spot in the trees or on the ground to brighten the day.

These are lovely!
I had only one pair for awhile but with the cold this week I had three pair one day.

The cardinals are my favorite. They are so grogeous because of the bright red colour. I just love these photos.
