These Canadian Geese photos were taken some where in southwest Virginia, June 2008.
I know it was not at Hungry Mother Campground, but it was somewhere close to Marian, Virginia. In the area of the Laurel Valley Church I posted last summer. Probably could never find this little spot again. I was just roaming the roads while Jimmy was at work. I only went with him to Marian one time in the 7 months he was there. Got lots of photos in those 2 days.

Very nice and I love those black heads.
Good Morning, Leedra!
I enjoyed seeing these great Geese pictures! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get to make many more pictures.
Hmmm---since I lived in Marion for a brief time in the '70's--I should know where those pictures were taken. I would have guessed Hungry Mother.. Oh Well. Wherever you were, you got some beautiful shots!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Great pictures, Leedra. I was glad to discover that I'm not the only one who sometimes forgets where a picture was taken!
I've never seen baby Canadian goslings before!
The Canada Geese are so fun to watch.
Happy Birding,Ruth
Leedra I love your new heador and the Forsythia looks so very fragile in the snow. Wonderful colors and comp. too!
That is an interesting picture, Leedra. I've never seen young Canada Geese at this stage of their lives - I don't think I would have recognized them without their parents! Very nice!
You know I see baby geese all the time but not teenage geese. :) Love your shots!
Leedra: That is when the geese are in that ugly duckling stage. Those are neat photos.
