This is one of the birds at Rockwood, you can see why I want Jimmy to keep the feeders filled. Jimmy broke down and filled the feeders during his lunch hour yesterday. He said by the time he got off work they had eaten quite a bit. He will fill to the very top before he leaves on Friday. I have seen as many as 12 different types of birds in a 2 hour span. There are 3 pairs of Blue Jays and 3 pairs of Northern Cardinals. Jimmy also saw 3 Sapsuckers yesterday, but they are not at the feeders, just the Oak tree.

Beautiful photo! I have only seen one Blue Jay at our house in the seven years we have lived there. Sure wish I could get a pic of one!!
I am impressed Leedra! - going on vacation, getting assignments done and 3 weeks of posts in the draft box! ! ! I hope you have a wonderful, refreshing time and maybe meet a few new birds while you're there :)
How in the world do you get 3 weeks of posts ready....and have time to take pictures? And great pictures at that! I am envious;-) but I also enjoy them!

Blue jays aren't our favorite birds but these pictures are fantastic.
