Common Moorhen

The Common Moorhen is a "Gallinula Chloropus", the Sibley says it is duck like.
I thought it was a duck. Keep learning.
These photos were taken in October 2008, at Lake Seminole Park in Seminole, Florida.
The one Moorhen has a piece of seedweed? The 2nd one wants it.
Not sure if the first one can get away from it,
or if he continues to shake it to show he has it.
The 2nd one is following behind, saying "Gimme, gimme, gimme!"

Tomorrow we will be boarding the Princess Coral in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.

It always seems like the birds that are called "common" something are ones that I never see :-) I think these "common" birds are beautiful with those red bills...great photos!
