Conca d' Or Lily

I bought this lily at the Oakes Daylilies Festival thinking it was an asiatic or oriential which are both perennials. I may have made a mistake. Now reading the tag it is an OT Hybrid Lily. I am not sure this one can stay in the ground during the winter. It really is beautiful with the largest blooms I have ever seen on a lily, but I wasn't planning on just one year. I prefer perennials. Time will tell if I made a mistake.
