What is it?

I have never done this before, seen others do it on their blog.
Thought it might be fun. Do you know what plant/flower this is?

It looks like it could be a RED HOT POKER plant, but I could be wrong.

I have to agree it looks like a red hot poker but I know Jimmy doesnt like those - so you wouldnt have any! It also looks like a Hyacinth, but the leaves appear to look like a succulent.

It's really not a plant or bloom at all. It's a new bird ---one of those that flew in from another planet. Pretty, isn't she?????

Betsy

Ok I have been thinking. Is it a Pineapple lilly? I used to have one but it obviously got too cold here for it!

Teresa sounds pretty confident so I will have to go with her. A Pineapple Lily.

Good shot.

It's definitely a Venusian spongetrap. I believe I saw it on Star Trek when it tried to grab Captain Kirk as he walked by. :)
