Some of what we saw around East Tennessee this morning. Our house as we returned from driving around.
Some color in the snow.
My daylilies still trying to bloom. Several buds left, they probably won't bloom now.
Encore azalea, this is a repeat bloomer.
And my crazy iris.

The fresh snow is very beautiful, and you certainly have brave flowers!
These are beautiful!! After Christmas I am so buying the first one, don't let me forget. Now my less than normal but normal for teenagers aren't sure if they really want scarves....sigh
So Pretty Leedra. We had flurries here. I have one crazy Iris that just keeps on blooming! Hope you have a good evening.
I definitely like the pops of color in the snow. That is something we don't get over here.
Blessings,Ruth
We received a real treat of 4-5 inches today!
Love the flowers with snow - I have a couple I will be posting soon.
We got some also, Leedra--about 1-2 inches. I'll blog about ours tomorrow.
You got some great pictures. Those blooms look COLD don't they????
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm so envious of your snow! We have none downstate but it is snowing up at the cabin - hope to make it up there next weekend. Loved your photo especially of the colored bloom in the snow! :-)
Wow, your house is gorgeous!
My parents live in east TN, south of Knoxville. My mom said they had about 2" of snow today! We live in upstate NY and have NO snow!
Hi Leedra,
We finally got about 3 inches last night, nothing blooming though because it's been cold for a while. Pretty when it first snows isn't it? After that it seems to be too cold and wet.
Looks like those poor little flowers were caught off guard.
I love fresh snow! But not only that, I truly love seeing snow on flowers! It seems out of place, but the white makes the colors of the flowers pop. :)
I like all the snow kissed buds Leedra. The first pic could be a postcard.
Beautiful colors peeking through the snow. I have no flowers at my house these days.
Love the photos Leedra, fresh snow is very pretty :)
I think most of us got snow over the weekend.
The snow is so beautiful. I like the first photo of the barn with the old trucks. This picture would look good in one of your greeting cards. I'd say your right about the flowers not going to bloom now, but you never know.
Amazing that these flowers are trying to bloom!
You had blooms left - wow! Sure makes for lovely snow shots.
Kind of strange seeing those beautiful flower poking thru the snow. Ours are usually long gone from freezing before the snow arrives.
Your blossoms are very sturdy to stand up to the snow, they look very pretty in their white coats.
I especially like your first picture.
A delightful post, as always.
Happy Holidays.
Sunny :)
Merry Christmas Leedra! :)
I love the barn shot! Those poor flowers trying to bloom in the snow. Merry Christmas!
Lovely pictures of flowers in the snow! Thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year Leedra!
Just beautiful - as always!
