When we were in St Pete Beach in June I saw a White Ibis on the beach.
This was the first time I have ever seen a White Ibis on the beach there. So I was snapping away.
Then Mason noticed his Granny was paying attention to something other than him.
Then Mason noticed his Granny was paying attention to something other than him.
And off he went to investigate. Mason looks like he is ready to fly. I laugh at this picture everytime I look at it.
He couldn't catch him (mainly because we wouldn't let him),
so he is headed back to the water.
I was really surprised how much Mason liked the sand and the ocean. My children were not crazy about the sand at his age. Mason wore us out before he was tired of it, everytime we took him to the beach. Lindsey did a great job of keeping the sunscreen on him and you can barely tell he has gotten any sun.

That Mason is a cutie! I can just picture him on his toddler legs trying to get that bird! Great photos of the Ibis too - so peaceful to look at.

The picture of Mason going after the ibis is priceless, but the last picture is absolutely adorable. The pictures of the ibis are also very good!
The picture of Mason going after the Ibis is so adorable. He is trying his best to get him. I'm glad he enjoyed the sand. It sounds like he had a great time. These photos are great.
Oh those pictures of Mason reminds me of my kids when they were little. They loved the beach/ocean also.

Beautiful photos of Ibis & Mason. Thank you.
Great shots of the Ibis! Her pink legs and beak really stand out and she doesn't seem too concerned with you being there.
The picture of Mason chasing it is precious. I'd frame it with that poem about -'giving our children wings.'
Interesting bird and beautiful grandchild. A perfect sequence Leedra!
Now tell the truth--which was more fun to watch--Mason or the Ibis?
Beautiful pics of the IBis!
