Turtles in Florida

I think the first four photos are Painted Turtles. Not sure though. I have not tried to research turtles at all.
I like this pair on the log, with all the reflections.
Not sure about this last one, it does appear to be a different type.
These photographs were all taken during our trip to Florida, February 2009.

I don't know many turtle species other than the snapping turtle, red-leg, and the common land turtle. Whatever these are, they are good photographs and I enjoyed them.

Also thanks so much for your supportive comment about the elk.

What beautiful pictures of the turtles. I especially like the turtles on the log with the reflection beneath it. Very well done!

Leedra, these pictures remind me of my visits to my brother in his retirement home complex in Jacksonville, FL. They have a lake and pond around the property --and the turtles are always sunning themselves on the logs in the water.

Great pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
