Mallard Ducks at Fountain City Duck Pond - Part 2

He is strutting his stuff. Showing off for the girls.
Remember these were early spring and he was looking for a mate.
Oh, maybe he is headed to her now (not me).
Aren't they a nice pair?
I saved my favorite to the last. I know he has the color, but she is so pretty.

I like the last one, too. Mallard females are so pretty. Their feather paterns are really pretty.

You know, the colorful male birds always catch our eyes, but when you see the female in such a good picture, we you see just how beautiful they are also.

Great shots Leedra... love the first one of the male showing off. And the last one really shows how beautiful the female is. :)

I wish the photos I've taken at the FC Duck Pond were even half as good as yours. These photos show just how beautiful the ducks really are. As always, great photos Leedra.
