Pink Oriental Lilies

These oriental lily photos are obviously from earlier in the year. I do still have some daylilies blooming (very few) but no oriental lilies left. This first one is called Oriental X-otica, you can see the coloring of my daylilies in the background. The X-otica is planted in the edge of my largest daylily flowerbed.
You know me, I have to get closer and closer.
Although they all look like the same lily to me, the last one is Pink Pearl, the oriental I posted early July, here. The Pink Pearls are planted up close to the house, you can see the brick in the background.
Just taking a little time to blog. I am going to try to visit some too.

These are beautiful, Leedra. I was able to plant a few more lilies this afternoon (after mowing in the morning!). We don't have any daylilies left, but the roses are still going strong.

Hi Leedra, Just before I clicked on your blog I received an email from Oakes Daylilies with a 25% off daylily sale! You know what I'll be doing later!!!
Your photos are so pretty. I especially love the close ups. God certainly gives us beautiful flowers to enjoy! Hope you get some rest tonight. Take care.

We'll all be looking back at our flower photos in the not too distant future wondering how long it will be till we have them again. These are gorgeous.

I don't know how you always get such wonderful photos but these are great. The ones showing the orange flowers in the background show me your garden must be spectacular.

I was catching up on some older posts. I am ashamed to say I am bad with nuts and trees. Just this weekend I saw an American chestnut (not in my yard) and did not know what it was. Thanks for clearing it up. I also did not know the history behind buckeyes and where the Ohio 'Buckeye' nickname came from. I think your buckeyes are probably chestnuts and possibly edible? They look like they would taste good.

I have several hummingbird feeders and only one time have I ever seen honeybees swarm like this. It was really odd and quite unique. I'm glad they did not stay around though.

Lovely lilies! I can tell your garden flourishes.
These are a really lovely color.

Chestnuts for sure - I'm getting some at my Mom's tomorrow.

I love lilies Leedra, I know you know that! But all the flowers, butterflies, hummingbirds below!!! And the BEES!!! All are so beautiful. That is too bad about the bees but they are such an important part of nature. Do you know where the hive is? Maybe they can be relocated. Seems like some bee keeper somewhere would love to have them!
Beautiful photos! I love the Buckeye butterfly too!

Pretty as usual Leedra.

You're right, I haven't been blogging as much. My garden was disappointing this year and truthfully I just haven't been into it as much. Hopefully fall will get me going.

I have a Canon Rebel D-SLR, not the high end D-SLR. I do have 4 different lens, including a Canon Macro 100mm.

These are beautiful lilies. I do not know how you keep up with the different kinds, because these 2 lilies are so similiar to each other.
