A few Butterflies and a Hummingbird in the yard

Skipper on Blanket Plant bloom.
Two skippers on a zinnia bloom.
The next 3 photographs are a Variegated Fritillary.

Sorry I didn't have the correct lens on when this single hummingbird came for a very short visit to the zinnias in one of my flowerbeds next to the driveway.

Oh, I love the hummer! It's as if he's peeking to see what you are doing! The flower placement is perfect. Beautiful butterflies.

Your butterfly shots are so awesome! You must be very patient.
I too like the pose of the hummingbird. I saw two fleetingly yesterday at my petunias and know they will be leaving me soon.

Leedra what lovely photos here. I like the two skippers on the same bloom. You think they were conversing with each other?

Like the last pic of the hummer.

Hope you have a marvelous weekend!

I like your picture of the hummingbird, even if you did have the wrong lens on your camera.

Wonderful! The little skippers are such fun to watch and they do love the flowers. I never see any fritillary butterlies. Love the hummer on the flower.

I envy you that you have so many butterfly opportunities :) I enjoyed them very much a few years ago visiting the east coast.

As for the hummer... well, not only still a beautiful image, but I can also relate. Happens all the time to me.
