I see this Muscovy Duck at Lake Seminole Park everytime I visit.
But I only see one.
Hope he/she finds a mate this spring.
Mostly God's creations through my lens. Sometimes old buildings and such. Sometimes my own creations through hand knitting and needle felting. And sometimes just life as it is happening.
Hope he/she finds a mate this spring.

Great photos!! I can't even imagine being lucky enough to see one of those with my own two eyes!
Thanks for letting us know what kind of duck this is. There are many of these at the park where I exercise. They are always a huffing and blowing like they have asthma or something.
Hi Leedra, I've never seen a Muscovy Duck before... Not the prettiest duck in the water--but I do hope he can find a mate, so that they'll have some baby Muscovys...
Great pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
Okay, not so beautiful. But at least unique.
Such a unique looking duck! I wonder if their babies are cuter?
I lived on the barrier islands for 25 years, I lived on Madeira Bch at John's Pass, Indian Shores, Largo, Seminole and Redington Bch. I loved FL but now live in Seattle. These photos bring back such good memories. I was in FL when the tanker hit the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Great photos. Did you have a chance to eat at Crabby Bills on Indian Rocks Beach?
Linda - I hope you will return I do often post photos from the area because we spend at least 4 weeks a year on St Pete Beach. We visit the local parks for my photography interest. I guess you don't have a blog since it won't let me click to respond to you. Thank you for visiting.
