I know you all came to visit today because you are just DYING to find out "What is it?", but it is raining outside and the thing won't open on up for a finished product photo shoot. And on top of that I am going to Rockwood tonight, so I won't be here tomorrow morning. And on top of that we are still on baby watch, and getting closer and closer to the actual due date. So who knows when I will be home again.
Just some info about the baby watch, since I have been acting like anyday now forever. Wendy started having contractions that appeared like the real thing about a month ago. Once they even got to 1 full minute in duration, consistently every 3 minutes. The hospital said, "Nope, not the real thing", you are going home. I was like "WHAT?" But that was 10 days ago now, so I guess they knew what they were talking about. I can relate. Two weeks before she was born I had false labor too. She had a new unltrasound about a month ago and they said if they were in the business of changing due dates they would change it to April 24. That 'if' saved their face, didn't it? Her original due date was set at May 6, so we are 5 days from it. Wendy has figured out how to make the contractions stop, so guess when it is the real thing and they won't stop she will go to the hospital again. By the way, Wendy was born 1 day after her due date. So we are still on baby watch.
Hope you like the fence post even though it does not answer the question "WHAT IS IT??"

Cliff hanger!! Thinking of Wendy!!!
In our family, babies are like that, too. They come when they damn please. Usually late.
I do like the fence, and have no idea what the plant is.
I think I am thankful we didn't have to wait for Lorelei to be born. She was due Feb 26, and came the 9th. But a couple weeks before that the doctor did tell Sarah she could come at any time and he thought it would be before the due date.
I was always two weeks late or more - the waiting is hard and I usually felt like the barb wire in the photo - tangled emotions. Without knowing it, your photo is very appropriate!
Rose - I remember saying something about "what if she comes in January or March?" when you received your amthest necklace. Mason was due Feb 19, and he arrived Jan 26. We were not expecting that at all. By the way, aren't grandchildren just wonderful?
Connie - Yep, it is fitting, nope I did not think about it.
Hi Girlfriend, One of these days, George and I will get to Panther Creek State Park... BUT--I don't think I am a 'true' photographer like you are. I would NEVER notice that fence post.. Guess I need to start looking more!!!! ha
I hope that Wendy has her baby soon.. I know you are tired of waiting...I'll be anxious to hear all about it--when we get home.
Have a wonderful day and week. I'll post one more time in the morning--but then I'll be gone for about 9 days.
Hugs,
Betsy
Neat shot.Hope baby arrives soon and all is well.
Blessings,Ruth
I DO like the fence post photo, very lovely shot. Good wishes go to Wendy (and hugs)... I'm sure she's ready and anxious by now!
Not sure what that plant/flower is, but it will be fun to find out.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love the fence post photo. I hope Wendy has her baby soon, because I know she is miserable. Hopefully not too much longer.....
Okay, the suspense is killing me!!! Nice picture tho.
Susie - You of all people should know what it is. Not an uncommon plant.
I'm waiting to see those baby photos.....
I wonder if there's a baby yet. Hmmm. Nice fence relic. :)
